STIT serves individuals who need non-credit, short-term training. STIT is administered by Corporate Solutions at Salt Lake Community College.

Program Eligibility

Individuals generally meet one or more of the following eligibility requirements:

  • Seeking employment and need to obtain employable skills
  • Wanting to make a career change requiring upgraded skills
  • Enrolling in a course to successfully complete certification/licensure requirements

Tuition Assistance

The STIT program uses state funds to provide occupationally-specific training for individuals seeking to match their non-credit training needs to employment opportunities. STIT funding covers a percentage of the tuition for course offerings, with a general limit of $500 or less per class.
